For the month of April Wee Wandering Scots have set a challenge to get into the water everyday, rain or shine. 

We have chosen Surfers Against Sewage as the charity we want to fundraise for as we feel strongly about the work they do towards protecting the oceans. 

Some devastating statistics show that everyday approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans. 

If we do not take action now, by 2050 the ocean could face having more plastic than fish (by weight) 

As part of our challenge we will also be devoted to doing a beach clean per swim at each location it takes place. 

We are very grateful for every donation big or small and welcome the moral support of anyone who wishes to join us on a swim!
