Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

The Ketogenic diet saved Harry from relentless seizures that were impacting his learning and development. Matthews Friends helped us implement the diet and supported us for the 2 years that Harry was on it and they continue to raise awareness of the diet and suppprt UK families using the diet to treat seizures.

Kids on the medically controlled Ketogenic diet which used to treat epilepsy don’t have sweets any time so we are following Matthews Friends and going Sugarfree for Epilepsy in November. Keith, Dervla, Isla and Harry will all give up sweets, desserts, chocolate and other sugary treats for the month of November to raise awareness of the really positive effect that the Ketogenic diet can have for children with epilepsy and we hope that you’ll donate a few pounds to Matthews Friends too so they can continue the wonderful work.

Thanks! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
