Please help us to fund a glorious garden for our patients.
Patients attending Joseph Weld Hospice for the day now have a lovely new centre - the ‘John Greener Garden Room’ - to enjoy thanks to a grant from the government.
We also wanted to transform the outdoor space around the centre into a patio garden where patients can relax, try out new ways of gardening (which they can use at home if they want) and enjoy creative gardening with others. We needed to put in accessible planters, shading, a good and safe hard surface and of course lots of beautiful plants.
In addition we to want to be able to use plants and gardening material throughout the year so that patients can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening whenever they come to the centre.
Could you help us by sponsoring one or more paviors or by making a donation to help us create a Plant Fund for the plants we need now to beautify the garden and will need in future for gardening activities? In addition we need a sail shade so that patients can enjoy the patio garden in the summer protected from the sun.
"My heart and soul is gardening - if anyone is feeling under the weather then I would advise them to do a spot of gardening because it always makes me feel a million times better."
We need:
One sail shade - £5000
One central 2nd pavior ring kit - £300
One central 3rd pavior ring kit - £500
479 paviors 600cm x 600cm - £20 each
232 paviors 600cm x 300cm - £10 each
455 paviors 300cm x 300cm - £5 each
and finally
Plant Fund £500
(any size of donation most welcome)
