Story

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On June 21st this year, team We like big putts and we cannot lie  will be walking around 25000 yards,or 12 miles whilst playing four rounds of golf at our golf club,Falkirk Golf Club. Although this will be a challenge to every single one of us,we are thoroughly looking forward to taking part in the Macmillan Longest Day and being able to play our part to help people and families dealing with cancer.

Macmillan exists because of millions of people coming together with one common goal,to improve the lives of people living with cancer.

The people who make up Macmillan range from professional nurses and doctors, right through to volunteers who have lost family members or friends to cancer, and cancer survivors themselves.

Please,if you've read this far then dig deep, whether it be ten pence,or ten pounds, every donation counts and will add up by the time we've completed this challenge.

We thank you again for taking the time to read this and would like to thank you in advance if you have donated anything to our cause.

No one facing cancer should walk alone!

Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
