In loving memory of our father Hajji Mehdi Khan whose soul peacefully departed on the blessed day of Jumuah.(01.01.2021) at the age of 76 by the mercy of Allah.

He leaves behind his beloved wife and 5 children.

We are raising money for a community well to be built in Gambia and in Pakistan (Tharpakur) where they are in desperate need of clean water. Both wells will provide water for over 1,000 people that are less fortunate, as Sadaqah Jariyah for our late father.

The wells will take 1 year to make as the project is a big one and requires a lot of manpower. However in being community wells they will be extremely beneficial once complete!

Allāh SWT says, *‘You shall never attain righteousness unless you spend from what you love. And whatever you spend, Allāh is fully aware of it.’* [3:92]

The Prophet ﷺ promised: _"Charity does not decrease wealth"._

*Remember,* we are donating towards the building of wells, therefore for as long as the wells remain in use, we will continue to reap the reward, even after our demise! This is called sadaqah jaariyah _*(ongoing charity)*_.
