The TM Society provides information and support to over 2000 people living with Transverse Myelitis, their families and carers in the UK, and those with other rare auto-immune neurological conditions, ADEM and NMO (Devic's disease). It's affiliated with the worldwide Transverse Myelitis Association.

Story

This year we have decided to do a Skydive to raise money for Transverse Myelitis Society, a charity very close to three of of members hearts. Mike, Andy and Matt Biss's father first suffered from the condition on the 9th December 2007. Patrick fell asleep on the sofa, when he woke up an hour late he was unable to stand. TM in brief is a inflamation of the spinal cord, it affects the Myolin in the muscles which is used to help the muscles contract.

TM affects people in varying ways, most commonly bringing about semi paralysis in the lower body. It is more common in people aged 19-26 (the age of most young farmers).

We hope to raise money to support the Poole Support Group and the ongoing research for the condition.
