Wellington Sixth Form Virtual LeJoG Lockdown Challenge · 1 January 2021

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

Wellington School Sixth Form pupils and staff are aiming to run in teams, the 1400km from Lands End to John O Groats over the period of Lockdown from January 1st to February 21st 2021. We are raising money for the Trussell Trust which provides support for food banks in the UK at this most challenging of times, including our own local Taunton Food Bank.

Each week pupils are logging their miles which are uploaded onto a virtual map to show how far they have reached. The full distance requires a team of 4 to run 7km a day. There are Levels to aim for along the way.

You are invited to offer your support by sponsoring an individual or team to help the Trussell Trust in their work to reduce hunger across the UK and in our local area at the most challenging of times.
