Welsh Cavachon Club ‘Save a Dog’ Appeal · 26 March 2020

Friends of Animals Wales is a small animal charity in the Welsh Valleys. Our founder Eileen Jones has dedicated much of her life to rescuing animals who desperately need a second chance in life. Friends of Animals Wales is run solely by volunteers.

Story

So many dogs are being handed in because of this awful Covid19 virus, through the death of owners, through owner’s sickness and simply through fear!

Sadly, we find our Friends of Animals Wales Rescue in a terrible financial position. The charity shops have closed their doors.

 No trade = no money.

No money = no lifesaving medications/ no dog food/ no cat food/ and no money to pay for everything else that needs to still get paid.

This Rescue exists only on local donations and income from their shops. They are not a large National Charity that can dip into the Networks funds.  They do not have paid employees so cannot dip into the Government’s aid.

We are in crisis and things will only get worse.

Please - if you can spare just £1 it will make the World of difference to so many dogs.
