“THE WHY”

For my birthday I have chosen Glam-A-THON. 

My boobs were real and oh-so spectacular!  In October of 2017, they also became attempted murderers handing me a rare, Stage 3 Breast Cancer diagnosis.

Now 4 years later, I am choosing to honor these bodacious tatas. WHY? Because they have propelled me and ironically answered, without me even questioning, MY WHY. 

As I was  nominated by the Memorial Foundation’s Pink Angels, with the esteemed honor of being selected as a Glam-A-THON™ Glammy
Honoree, these reconstructed and purposeful breasts, now provide me with an additional life of passion in cause, purpose, and gratitude. You may not have interest in getting your hands on them, but their purpose now is truly the epitome of real and spectacular and the core of endless possibilities of what I can do and who I have become on a very personal level and within a very deep purpose.  

With this high honor of being a Glammy Honoree, I have created a webpage through this charitable 501c(3) organization, in which your support through donations allows me to continue my efforts to help others as they enter into a cancer diagnosis, let alone under already difficult circumstances. Your donation has a tremendous impact on my continued goal of raising funds and awareness, provide
innovative services, programs, and initiatives, and being able to meet the needs of women and in turn their families.

After intensive and extremely aggressive, chemotherapies, radiation, medications, blood transfusions, and surgical treatments, I was able to come through truly knowing MY WHY. To help patients and their families on a personal level, making that direct connect and human touch approach as they endure and journey within this space and place in life with a breast cancer diagnosis. 

It’s with this authenticity and vigor that I am able to help and assist, show hope and compassion within the confines of so many realities within the reality, while truly recognizing the pure fear and challenges and uncertainty that stands before any breast cancer patient. Having the ability to raise funds to meet these needs and challenges, basic necessities, let alone the plethora of ones no one can even fathom, is what is making a difference in the everyday life of a patient, and in turn, their family is about.

I am committed because of my innate nature to embrace and
learn, hear and provide and do all that is needed to make a difference in the day in a life, and the days following. 

My philanthropic work and quest for assisting those living with breast cancer have added another level to what my concept and approach to being ALIVE is all about. 

I no longer need a bra for support as my reconstruction
surgeon rocked his masterful artistry. The support I am wishing for is from you and any donation amount is making an impact.

Your generosity directly assists me in helping make a difference in everyday lives with this disease. Cancer doesn’t care who you
are or what you have. It is what feels like an endless terrain of uncertainty, fear, and challenges beyond your imagination.

At the end of the day, I never realized just how Legendary
my boobs would turn out to be!
