Many of you guys know that we have lost too many to this terrible illness. Better early diagnosis is needed.  This is a tough walk for me as I tend to walk on the flat lands of Orkney. However, this is a cruel disease and watching folks bravely fight this battle and loose is tough. Undertaking this challenge  is nothing compared to their bravery.   I will climb Ben Nevis for them and to help save those that come behind and have to embark on the hellish journey which lies ahead if given this diagnosis. 

Come on folks, get behind me, be generous and help to raise at least a £1 a metre for the climb.  I'm sure that your donations will help to spur me on as I climb what has got to be the most adventurous walk of my life to date!! I've passed the Ben on many occassions and I NEVER ever thought wanted or dreamed I'd want to do is this! So this is A HUGE feat for me!!!!
