Weston Hospicecare supports people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Weston-super-Mare and surrounding areas. They have been delivering care – entirely free of charge, to all who need it for 30 years.  Last year, they cared for 970 people – and supported their families too, from diagnosis to bereavement and beyond.

I am fundraising for Weston Hospicecare because of the continued and invaluable support they give to a very dear friend.

It costs £4.2million a year to run Weston Hospicecare, but the NHS funds only one fifth of that. The remaining 80 per cent must be raised locally.

Michelle and I are personally challenging ourselves and taking the opportunity to raise money to help to fill a bit of that 80% gap.  Hope you can help - it'll be worth it to see our 'training faces' photo's !!
