My eldest son has suffered Ulcerative Colitis most of his life. Benjamin is only 9 years old and has been hospitalised, had an emergency blood transfusion,  and been on 3 different types of medication since he was 3 years old. He takes constant steroids, immunosuppressants and his disease has restricted his growth. This disease is a massive part of our lives and we need a cure! 

Crohn's and Colitis UK provides support, advice, and a lifeline for sufferers and their families. They also provide support for research which will hopefully find a cure in the future. My family and some kind friends are walking the Weardale Way, 77 miles over 3 days. It is a huge challenge but I hope we can raise some money for this worthy charity.
