As many of you know me and my true love of animals. I lost my beloved Lawrence, my chocolate Labrador, just over 2 years ago, and I thought I could never love another dog as much as I loved him.. Then a year later I was asked to the lab rescue to look at a dog that had just arrived.. Edward, 15 months old.. I had never really thought much about rescue dogs until Edward .. And boy, did he change my way of thinking... 

Most of the dogs at the Labrador rescue are there through no fault of their own, family circumstances change,and unfortunately lots of Labradors end up having to be re homed..

The work of the rescues is incredible..They are wanting all of these dogs to find a ' furever' home, just like Edward did with me. The rescue  constantly fundraises to support themselves.....,kenneling fees, long term fostering care,vets fees... The list is endless..

This cycle challenge will take me 150 miles across the Pennines at the beginning of May...My first cycling challenge ever....Testing , im sure... but im determined to do it for the love of labs....Edward of course is helping me train and i will add photos of all my training achievements along the way..I so hope you will help me achieve my goal to help give a little bit back to the rescue..

There are so many Labradors needing a chance to find their furever home....
