This half marathon run is in memory of Edward who sadly passed away February 24th 2022. Our favourite place to visit , Padstow. It brings back so many memories of our days spent here laughing, playing, swimming, walking, eating ice cream and introducing Team Edward to the South West. 

Edwards work in rescue stretches far and wide. Spending holidays here with Steve, my now husband, Chester, who sadly passed away September 2021 and our little chocolate girl Ellie. There is no better place to push ourselves to run this epic coastal run taking in some of the best views, and …. Awful climbs!! 

It’s going to be a challenge, we’ve not run a half marathon for 6 years, but what better time to spend down here remembering Chesters first anniversary of not being with us, Ellie’s 12th birthday and what would have been Edwards 12th birthday. We also celebrate our second wedding anniversary on the 18th. 

1404 feet of climbing, running the coastal path… daunting.. We will complete it even if we have to crawl over the finish line. We are needing that trophy medal at the end to say we did it! 

Everything we do , we do for Edwards Legacy. The wonderful rescue he started and put where it is today. 

Our aim is to raise funds for Team Edward to help all the many Labradors that are lucky enough to find us, who need help in finding their furever home. 

Every step of this epic route and you will be n my thoughts Edward. I will love you forever and everything you stood for..

For all the very many Labradors we’ve taken in , cared for and found wonderful homes for. ❤️
