On the 5th October this year I will be jumping from a plane all in aid of a very worthy charity.  Many people would pay good money to see me plunge from the skies... And now is your chance!

I will be taking on this challenge to raise money for VOCAL.  VOCAL is 25 this year and I am 50, so

VOCAL support and empower over 10,000 people living in Edinburgh and Midlothian every year who provide unpaid care to friends, partners or relatives with long term illness, disability or addiction. This is through:

1:1 carer support,

counselling,

training,

access to complementary therapies,

legal information,

health surgeries,

support groups,

help with welfare rights

and much more...!

I have been involved with VOCAL since 2004; as a carer, volunteer and now as part of the carer support team.  I know from every angle the difference VOCAL's work makes to carers.  Please support the continuation of our valuable work.
