Milton Keynes Marathon and Chiltern Ridge Ultra · 1 May 2023

It is World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. Join us in celebrating and helping us to raise vital funds to continue to empower families with children with Down syndrome.

Story

I am going to run the Milton Keynes Marathon and the Chiltern Ridge 50k Ultra on consecutive weekends to raise money for Down Syndrome UK. They are a charity that empowers families of children and young people with Down syndrome.

My nephew, Tom, is the best little nephew in the world. He had a heart operation when he was less than six months old. Thanks to that operation  he’s thriving. Im positive about Tom and I’m positive about Downs.

I’m less positive about running 42km one weekend, 50km the next (and I’ll throw in 8km midweek to round it up to a full 100km). So if you sponsor me you’ll give me a great reason to keep going.
