We provide support to people and their families in the UK who have Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (chromosome 22q13.3 deletion). This support is provided through information, therapies and financial grants, and by organising family days and get-togethers. Thank you for supporting PMSF UK.

Story

Hello! I am hosting an event and raising money for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation UK charity (PMSF UK).
My son Harvey has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS). PMS is a rare genetic disorder that affects speech, mobility and cognitive development.
There are only 150 people who are diagnosed with PMS in the UK & Ireland, and about 1500 worldwide. All people diagnosed with PMS have difficulty communicating and need HYPERLINK "http://www.pmsf.org.uk/test/therapies/" additional care to support their daily lives. Support is critical when you are caring for someone who has the syndrome.
The PMSF UK charity provides a supportive inclusive community for those who have or know someone with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. They support HYPERLINK "http://www.pmsf.org.uk/test/events/" family days and get-togethers and some limited financial support for additional therapies for the person with PMS.
