Our Story
As part of the students Rural Tourism Unit on their BTEC National Certifcate course it was felt that to appreciate just how important the countryside is to the domestic tourism market, the best way to gain a deeper understanding was to "get out there" and experience it. It was decided that a walk would be a challenging and hopefully enjoyable way to achieve these aims and so on February 16th the students will attempt the Chess Valley Walk between Rickmansworth and Chesham. Walking through the Chess Valley the students will not only walk a beautiful trail, but also learn about the history and structure of rural tourism in this area of the Chiltern Hills. The students are raising money for Cancer Research and it is hoped that the day will be a rewarding and enjoyable one.
Please contribute what you can to a very worthy cause.
