Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

West Kirby Live has been organised by Tom Longman, Luke and Pamela Millward-Browning and Martin Moseley, starting in 2016. The festival was born out of a conversation in which Tom was reminiscing about the Oxjam Festivals formerly held in Hoylake. With those great days in mind, it was decided that it was time for a new local music festival. Luke and Pamela volunteered to help organise the event and with the desire to support a more local charity Clatterbridge Cancer Charity was chosen after discussions with Luke who works at Clatterbridge. The first year saw around 80 local artists and many from around the country come together to perform across 10 venues in West Kirby and more importantly saw over £3000 raised for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. 2017 saw West Kirby Live grow even bigger thanks to support from Tony Woof who helped in running our first outdoor stage. Diane Tremarco helped in producing promotional material that really reflects West Kirby Live and it’s home. With even more acts performing and with many of West Kirby’s bars having their busiest ever days the team managed to more than double 2016s money raised. Over the two years West Kirby Live has raised over £10 000. Now in our third year we will have even more venues, even more acts, plus many other additions to be revealed as part of our aim to raise another £10 000!

West Kirby Live 2018 will take place on Saturday 2nd June!

Donate what you can and every thing is appreciated!!! Thanks everyone!
