Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is a charity that delivers specialist palliative care to adult patients of all ages who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses in the North West Surrey region, providing free of charge holistic care and support services both in our hospice and in homes.

Story

Two members of the Woking Football Club first team have joined staff from our Academy in giving up alcohol during October to raise money for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.

First team goalkeeper Craig Ross and midfielder Max Kretzschmar, along with Scott Harrison, Ryan Dent, Jane Spong, Graham Cowell and Jake Francis from the Academy have chosen to be sober this month, and you can sponsor them. All money raised goes towards Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, a worthy cause and long-term fundraising beneficiaries of the club.

The fundraising is supported by Herbalife Nutrition, who have kindly donated £200 already. Herbalife Nutrition help people improve their health in a variety of ways, including weight loss but also weight gain, increased energy, and better sports performance and recovery. They are currently offering a free 6-day healthy breakfast pack, which can be used as a 3-day weight loss trial pack and this includes a free wellness profile to find out body fat, muscle, and metabolic age amongst other things.
