Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our WHA JustGiving page.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗🎀

So we have decided, that on Thursday 21st October, we are going to host a WHA Pupil’s Race 4 Life event. The idea of the event is to help raise awareness and raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Now. The majority of people have family or friends affected by cancer so we wanted to help where we can :-)

The 2.5 km race will be taking place in the afternoon, on our school field and we are encouraging all pupils taking part to wear pink sportswear or at least an accessory which is pink. The race is meant to be fun, pupils can decide whether they want to run, walk or jog depending on their fitness levels.

We are hoping to raise £500 and every penny raised will help  life saving breast cancer research happen and help provide better care for those experiencing it, right now and in the future ✨

Thank you for taking the time to read. We really do appreciate any support 💗
