We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thankyou for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Name is Jez

This page starts in the wake of my successful war on my own Type 2 Diabetes.

I started the #WhatHappenedToJez movement in the lead up to running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. I did what needed to be done to fight Diabetes. I suffered the loss of family at the hands of diabetes and all the complications it brings.

I was once under its grips and only through the application of significant will determination and research was I able to triumph over the disease.

What I will go on to discuss under the # tag and via my blog will highlight how much research there is to do in many different areas before we start to understand it and truly make Diabetes a thing of the past for the millions who live with it daily and the thousands newly diagnosed or yet to be identified.

Please give what you can and stay with me on this next stage of the journey.
