We fund equipment and items for patients to make our hospitals the best they can be

Story

The Serious Illness Care Programme UK can improve healthcare for people diagnosed with a serious illness and means patients feel happier, more in control and better able to achieve their goals and priorities during their illness.

We want to bring this programme to our hospitals, and hope that successful implementation at Warrington and Halton Hospitals (WHH) will then lead to roll-out across Cheshire, Merseyside and beyond.

WHH will be the first Acute Trust in the UK to implement the programme and this gives us a unique opportunity to make a real difference to our patients’ care and experience on being diagnosed with/learning to live with life-limiting conditions.

Anything you can give will help us train even more of our clinicians - we thank you for your support for our patients and their families.
