Story
Two teams from the Edinburgh creative agency, White Light Media, are taking part in The Dramathon to raise money and awareness for Just a Drop.
The Dramathon is a marathon race along the beautiful Speyside Way from Glenfarclas distillery to Glenfiddich distillery on Saturday 21 October.
The company has put forward two teams of four who will take on a relay across the testing course, including the distraction of several distilleries along the route to stimulate their senses.
One team will be called Hot Rum Cow after the award winning drinks magazine that White Light publishes. Team members are David Anderson, Islay Brown, Ross Russell and Eric Campbell.
The other will be called World Whisky Day after the global celebration of whisky that White Light runs every year on the third Saturday in May. Just a Drop is the official charity partner of World Whisky Day. Team members are Fraser Allen, Jo Allen, Malcolm Triggs and Blair Bowman.
Many of the team members are novices when it comes to running - and none of them are used to running AWAY from whisky distilleries, so this will be a big challenge for all of them.
All funds raised from this challenge will go directly towards the charity's work, bringing sustainable clean water, sanitation and hygiene projects to communities, transforming lives.
