Sepsis accounts for 52,000 deaths annually in the UK alone, that’s more than breast cancer, bowel cancer and prostate cancer put together but doesn't quite make the same headlines and into people's conscience as the aforementioned illnesses. It is indescriminate, killing the young and old, healthy and fit. 

To raise awareness and hopefully some funding for The UK Sepsis Trust, on 24th March I will be running 20 miles from Whitby to Scarborough via the old railway track (The Cinder Track). Not quite a Marathon but not far off and definitely a challenge to my my 44yr old body.
