Doddie'5 Ride 2019 · 11 August 2019 ·
We are getting on our bikes this summer to tackle MND and Be Part of the Cure. Doddie'5 Ride, on August 11th 2019, starts and finishes at Melrose Rugby Club and is raising funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. We're taking on the Doddie'5 Epic (93 miles), which is in no way flat and there are plenty of hills.
We're a team of 4 from Whitecraigs Rugby Club and a couple of us haven't been on the saddle for quite sometime, until now. It's an exciting challenge for a good cause and the foundation has been created by a fellow rugby player.
My Name'5 Doddie foundation is close to our hearts, not only because Doddie is a fellow rugby player, who's played for our national team, but we have also lost a fellow Whitecraigs player to MND.
It would be amazing if we could manage to raise some money for this cause, whilst taking on this huge challenge. Don't get me wrong, we all enjoy cycling, but this will be the furthest we have all cycled in quite some time and it's going to hurt.
Any donation's are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
