We provide mental health treatment to veterans from every service and conflict

Story

Having rattled the tin for a few marathons, Ironman events and even raced to The North Pole in the past, the world's fittest fat old man is having a last hurrah before the 'bipolar training regime' takes a permanent toll.
Carb loading is going well, running not so much.

Much as the physical effects of conflict are obvious and provided for, there is no statutory help for Battle Shock.
The average manifestation is 14 years, so much as operational intensity has dropped, the demands are growing.
More veterans of the Falklands have now taken their lives than were killed in the conflict.
The issues of depression, isolation, anxiety, confusion, flashbacks, addiction, hyper-vigilance, homelessness affect surrounding families.
