Story
The Frailty Team is raising money for the Whittington Health Charity to help patients and colleagues, by taking part in the ASICS 10k on 25 July.
We work with older patients attending the Emergency or Ambulatory Care departments at North London's Whittington hospital to develop a plan to optimise their ongoing healthcare. We link patients with community teams and services to provide patient-centred care and promote better health outcomes for people living with frailty syndromes.
Our team consists of Consultant Geriatrician Kieran O'Gorman, Older Person's Clinical Nurse Specialist Paula Almeida, Clinical Fellow Phoebe Sharratt, Frailty SHO Georgina Harridge and Specialist Occupational Therapist Nicola Crossey.
Joining our team for the 10km run are past members of the team, along with some of our hospital and community partners: Victoria White (Doctor), Aisling Ramdling (Doctor), Matthew Colbert (Ambulatory Care Nursing Manager) and Amy Crosthwaite (Rapid Response and Virtual Ward Nurse).
We are raising money for the Whittington Charity as we're proud to work for an organisation that values their patients, staff and community partners.
