Whoosh 2019 is raising money for Bees for Development CIO
Story
From 3rd-7th May 30 cyclists from Herne Hill will be cycling over 300 miles from Somerset to Lincolnshire and raising funds for two great charities:
Bees for Development's support for women and girls in Ethiopia to keep bees. Often these girls have been married very young and have no means of earning an income. The traditional way is to gather honey in the forests but deforestation has left areas bare. So Bees for Development help the women get going with bee-keeping to earn an income. www.beesfordevelopment.org
