Whoosh 2016 · 29 April 2016

International Alert has been working for 30 years with people directly affected by conflict to find peaceful solutions. We believe in a world where people resolve their differences without violence and can build a more peaceful future for their families and communities.

Story

At the end of April this year, 30 friends from South London - the WHOOSH team - will be taking to their bikes again to cycle the Ring of Kerry for charity, International Alert.

For thirty years International Alert, based in Stockwell, has been helping people build peace. Whether it’s helping to provide trauma counselling for a Syrian child or bringing together victims and perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide, so they can build trust and understanding between them, by supporting International Alert, you will be helping people build peace in over 40 countries from Afghanistan to Colombia.
