WHSmith - Three Peaks Challenge · 21 May 2006

The young people we work with need our help more than ever. They face challenges and may live in potentially harmful or disadvantaged environments. We use outdoor adventure and one-to-one support to empower them to fulfil their potential and lead positive lives in the future.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The WHSmith IT team of:

Peter Swann, Mark Bramwell, Iain Winskill, Andy Tudor, Jayne Croston, Mike Addis, Hayley Parfitt, Mark Leckie and Vince Walton have accepted the challenge of attempting the Three Peaks Challenge during the weekend of September 9th/10th.

For the uninitiated, this will involve the physical challenge of transporting ourselves to and climbing the 3 highest mountain in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within 24 hours.

The challenge is being run as a charity fundraiser, with the proceeds being split equally across the WHSmith Trust (which supports a number of local charities) and the Mitchemp Trust which works with vulnerable young children in the Swindon and Wiltshire area.

In addition to the physical challenge, there is also a financial challenge with the aim of raising £10,000 for the designated charities.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Thank You.
