West Highland Way 2019 · 13 September 2019

5 days 96 miles! 8 walkers, past their prime take on Milngavie to Fort William, one of the most challenging routes in the UK. Rain, Midges. Blisters. Ticks & The Devils Staircase. All for the children, young people & families that Pace support!

Story

This September, nine of us will walk the West Highland Way over the course of five long days. 96 miles from just north of Glasgow to Fort William on Scotland's most famous and wildest long distance route. It will rain, it hopefully won't snow - but it will certainly be five days of hard slog over some challenging terrain.

We're raising money for Pace, which is the charity of which I have the great privilege of being Chief Exec and which I've been closely associated with for much of the past decade. It's a remarkable charity which transforms the lives of children and young people with cerebral palsy, and other similar physical disabilities, and their families.

Your support today will help to transform the lives of hundreds of children and young people who have to work really hard to do the things that most of us take for granted. You will help to unlock the potential of children with conditions like cerebral palsy by helping to provide intensive specialist education and therapy individually tailored to each child. You will be giving the children the skills they need to become independent, opening up a world of communication, mobility, learning and achievement. By giving to Pace today, you become part of our community, empowering disabled children and their families to be the very best that they can be.

Thank you so much for your support! And watch out on social media to hear how we get on in September!
