Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Stewart, Stevie, Ross and Martin are attempting the West
Highland Way 152KM walk in 2 days (with 3 day back up plan) for Kira and Solving Kid’s Cancer charity on the second weekend in June. With a 3 day back up plan.

Please click the following link to read Kira’s story and the
target required to fund life-saving surgery.

This is a walk usually attempted over a 7-day period, I
don’t think we really know what we have let ourselves in for, but with a few weeks training and good planning we hope to complete our goal you can put it down to determination, stubbornness or stupidity you decide.

We are four friends who are all around 50 years and old
former Dalkeith Rugby Club players

The reason for helping Kira and the Solving Kid’s Cancer
Charity trust is because when I heard Kira’s story it would make anybody get off their arse and do something to help if they can, either with a small or large donation or helping to fund raise to help Kira and her family through
this.

It also touched a personal cord with me as my wife Linda
also had childhood cancer and was helped by a lot of people through that period of her life and now she has reached the ripe old age of 50 and we have been blessed with a now 13 years old son Ben, this would not have been possible without people in the background fund raising and helping and where would we be without that.
