Update August 14th 2008

Well the walk went really well! 6 of us took up the challenge of walking to brighouse and back! this was actually 14 miles! we battled the high winds and torrential rain but we even managed to get a tan! the total is not yet in but we raised in the region of £300 pounds which will soon be added to our total.

Update August 6th 08

This sunday (August 10th) myself and some other staff members will be walking for the RSPCA we will be walking for 12 miles and getting sponsors to raise some more much needed funds.

please give what you can to get us to our goal of £3.500 this all goes directly to the animals for example, feeding and re homing, and funding animal ambulances and inspectors.

Please sponsor me!

Update July 4th 08

Day 4  day of draw  and it went really well! and it also took us over the £2,000 mark which is great.

i have also added a collection of pictures which i hope tells the store from day one and the the live draw will be along shortly.

Update june 27th 08

Day 3 of ticket sales raised us a further £266 which is edging us closer to our goal.

the draw is on friday which should get us up to £2000!

We raised a further £260 on the second day of ticket selling!

I'm so happy with the way its going!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped so far, family, staff and management at Wilkinson, Halifax. Thank you!

I work for wilkinsons in Halifax and every year the staff vote on the charity we want to support, well this year is the RSPCA and I strongly believe this charity needs a lot of support.

Me, my friend and colleague have really pulled out all the stops this year and have already had some successful events such as cake sales and even curry sales!

Our recent project is a big raffle that we are currently selling tickets for every friday in Halifax town centre.

We have managed to gather some fantastic prizes such as makeovers and hair cuts, we have even managed to get a meal at The Watermill restaurant and an overnight stay in the adjoining Premier Inn, and a meal with bed and breakfast at the Holiday Inn!

We would really like to meet our target so any donation, large or small would be much appreciated.
