I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to go back to the Philippines as the time that I spent there in Easter 2012 was the most life-changing and unforgettable experience I have ever had. It was the three weeks in the Philippines that confirmed that that I wanted to pursue a career in Primary school teaching as the POC taught me just how valuable and vital education is. I also knew as soon as I left that I wanted to return and carry on helping such a worthwhile and important cause. I hope to help as much as pssible at the Academy, but am happy to help out anywhere needed

My family and I have been supporting the POCM for a long time now since my Grandma and Grandad first visited the Philippines in 2006.

Altogether I need to raise £2,500 of which £1,200 will be spent directly at POCM whilst I am there

Running (or partly walking in mums case!) the 10k is a mad idea!! but one that we hope will raise a lot of money.
