Event: TRIBE 10% Project: Hackney Half Marathon, on 20 May 2018
Participants: Dan Bruce and Harry Plastow
Over 300 TRIBE members will storm the Hackney Half this May. Each will raise funds to fight modern slavery & push their limits to the max, as they strive to cut their PB by 10%.

Story

On October 28th, I will be attempting the Dublin Marathon.

In doing so, I am trying to raise money for two awesome causes.

Our overall mission is to raise £100,000 for the most innovative and impressive frontline anti-slavery projects. In 2018, we will be supporting Ella's Home and The Snowdrop Project. Two genuinely exceptional projects providing the highest quality long term support for survivors exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation:

- Ella’s Home is an East-London based safe-house providing rehabilitation, accommodation, and support for women exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation. In partnership with Luminary Bakery, they also offer training and employment opportunities, helping survivor’s to regain independence.

- Snowdrop Project is a Sheffield-based charity and one of the first in the UK to provide long-term follow-on support for survivors. They work with clients on an individual basis to ensure their personal and complex needs are met. Since inception, they have developed and expanded their successful model, increasing both their capacity and their impact.

I will be combining sponsorship efforts for both the Hackney Half (completed in May) and the Dublin Marathon (in October) and any donations (big or small) are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
