Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

This May, I will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Mt Snowdon in Wales in 24 hours with the Plymouth University Wilderness and Expedition Medicine Society (PUWEMS). I will be completing this challenge to raise money for the charity Parkinson's UK.

When I was a child, I was lucky enough to have my grandparents just down the road. Grandad was able to make any toy for us and him and my Nan spoilt us. He supported me throughout my life and, as I became more and more interested in the outdoors, he gifted me his beautiful old leather walking boots.

Unfortunately, my incredibly strong Grandad passed away in January 2018 after suffering for many years with Parkinson's. It is my intention to try and raise money for the charity that helps to fight against this awful disease in honour of an amazing man!

Thank you for supporting this brilliant cause.
