The OMM · 26 October 2013

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My brother-in-law Rhys and I are participating in the elite category of the 2013 OMM in the Brecon Beacons. The OMM is a self-reliance endurance race covering 52 miles over mountainous terrain in a 36 hour period. Competitors are in teams of two, carry all food, water and equipment required for the 2 day event with no outside support. The aim of the event is to navigate over the event course as quickly as possible, relying on teamwork, grit and relentless optimism.

We are raising money for the National Autistic Society as Rhys's son Ivar, my Godson, was diagnosed with autism a couple of years ago and the society have provided support to their family in this period.

Please help to spur us on this weekend by donating to this excellent cause.
