TL:DR

I am raising money for Age UK to continue providing support to the UK's elderly. If you can spare a quid or two for a great cause, then go ahead and donate. .

The Story

It doesn't matter what stage of life you are, or what memories you have, you will always have a memory of that kind old man or woman who smiled at you and gave you a bon-bon, butterscotch, or [insert hard-boiled sweet here].

My journey won't be much different to many of yours. I had a great-grandfather who suffered from dementia, I've had nans who have died from cancer. Nothing can stop people growing old and letting life take them back to the beginning of the circle...

...but you can improve their quality of life in their waning years.

Of course, no one wants to talk about what happens towards the end, but that doesn't mean we can't give people the best send-off possible.
