I will be taking part in this year's Ironman 70.3 in Barcelona in an effort to raise funds for Indigo Children's Fund. The race, also known as a "half Ironman", consists of a 1.2-mile (1.9 km) swim, a 56-mile (90 km) bike ride, and a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) run. Average time to complete is around 6hrs.

Indigo Children's Fund is a small UK registered charity set up to help underprivileged children around the world (primarily South East Asia - Nepal, Philippines, Thailand & Burma). We have a particular focus on access to education, healthcare and safe accommodation. We are unique in that 100% of all funds raised are spent directly on our projects. Never, ever, on anything else. We work with individuals and small groups on the ground who are striving to improve their communities and the lives of their children. We then offer financial support and construction management to help achieve their goals.

So please dig deep for this great cause and help make a real difference to kids who haven't had much chance in their life so far.
