I'll be running this year's London Marathon in support of Versus Arthritis.
As many of you may know, my fantastic wife Rachel was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2020. RA is an autoimmune condition, causing inflammation and swelling of the joints, chronic pain and severe fatigue. It affects around 1% of the population. There is currently no cure for the disease and Rach has spent a lot of the last couple of years learning to live along side it.
Versus Arthritis has been an invaluable source of support and information throughout this process, and their groundbreaking research into new treatments is something that Rach is now benefiting from first-hand.
