‘On 15^th July, Dortek are taking on the challenge
of Mount Snowdon to raise money for the charity Unique.

Unique’ s mission is to inform and support the isolation of
anyone affected by a rare chromosome disorder, copy number variant or single
gene disorder that is associated with learning disability.

This charity is especially close to one of our colleagues,
Laura, as her son was recently diagnosed with Hemihypertrophy. 

This is a condition where there is excessive hyper growth on only one side of the body,
as well as increasing the risk of childhood cancer.

Because of this, Ezra will require ultrasounds and blood
tests every 3 months until he is 10.

Ezra is currently 3 years old, and unfortunately there is no
cure for Hemihypertrophy. But charities like Unique are there to support the likes of Ezra and his family.
