Story
I'm doing my thing for BBC Children in Need. As a grant maker, they support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK. With our support, they are able to change almost half a million young lives across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every single year.

I choose to do this marathon event every year because I can. There are thousands of children in the U.K. that do not ask to be in the situations that they find themselves in, the money that I rasie goes straight to them to help them through these tough times. I may go through a bit of pain and discomfort during the 16 hours but it is nothing compared to what some of these kids face day in day out. I have seen first hand what music does for children that find themselves caught up in these situations, it takes them to a better place, to a happier place where they can forget the stresses and strains the world has thrown at them, to a place where they can loose themselves in their own world.
I have been doing these busks for 10 years with this being my 11th year at it and raised over £40,000, if you would like to donate on this page then thank you for you generosity, if you know of anyone that is passing through Leeds Station on the day then please tell them what I am up to and why, shout about the event on your Facebook page, Tweet about it and get #saxforpudsey or Saxtrooper trending. I have always dressed up for these events but this year I feel is the best. I will be busking in full Stormtrooper armour (minus the helmet for obvious reasons but it will be there for any photo ops). The recommended time in armour is 2 hours, I will be in the armour busking for 16hrs a marathon in itself.
I am looking to raise at least £500 online this year to add to the amount raised on the day through busking (on average has been £4500 per event).
