I am lucky enough to have worked for Chickenshed - a professional theatre company and charity which reaches over 1000 children and young people every week via performances, after school classes, outreach and community work, which includes workshops in schools, children's centres, prisons and hospitals.

At Chickenshed, everyone is welcome and we focus on what you can do, not what you can't. We now need over £4 million a year to run so any donations that you can give towards the continuation and expansion of our work would be much appreciated - our goal is to reach more and more children and young people whose lives could be transformed by the power of the inclusive, performing arts.

Because their work is accessible to everyone, they attract some of the UK’s most neglected young people, as well as those who are fortunate to not have such challenges in life – this creates a truly unique and inclusive environment for every child and young person to develop, learn and fulfil their potential.
