Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My wife Helen was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in December 2016 at the age of 42, with no previous health issues it was a real shock and a life changer for her. I decided I would run the 2017 Brighton marathon in aid of diabetes UK to raise money and awareness of this disease. The feedback and support I received in running the Brighton marathon was so overwhelming that I have decided to run the London marathon on the 28th of April for the same charity. Taking this in to consideration I am starting my fund raising ASAP so that I can meet and hopefully beat my set target. Any donation would be gratefully received as every penny can make a difference so we can help find a cure and create a world where Diabetes can do no harm.
