I lost my brother Peter to suicide on April 13th 1992 - one never forgets.  

My close friend Dan McCarthy lost his cousin recently and his uncle has set up a charity to help those who go through the pain of losing someone through suicide  - Baton of Hope.

I am not as fit ( or good looking) as my long suffering wife Rosie and July 9th when I am doing this will be our 30th wedding anniversary.  Wish me luck.

ps It was not her idea for me to do this so I would have a heart attack!
