Story
Hi,
In recent years, my family, like many others, has had its issues with cancer.
This year in March, my uncle, Duncan Tait, passed away following a short, but hard-fought battle with cancer, leaving all who knew him devastated and shocked at a great man taken too soon.
Ask anyone who knew Duncan about him and i'm confident one of the things you would be told almost immediately is that he was a bloody lovely guy, who was clearly interested in and cared about others a good deal. True to this, Duncan requested that any money raised in his memory was donated to a good cause, helping the less fortunate. Teen Unite was Duncan's chosen charity.
You can find out more about Teens Unite here www.teensunitefightingcancer.org.
On Sunday 16th September, along with some of my closest buddies, I will be taking part in the Brighton and Hove Triathlon, where I'll swim 1500metres in the sea, cycle 40k and then run 10k. It's not the first triathlon I've done; however, for a number of reasons - physical and otherwise - I suspect it will be the hardest. With your support I'm hoping to raise some money for Teens Unite, in Duncan's memory.
Thanks in advance for your support,
Wil
