Story
Together, we are taking on 5K-a-Day in October for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). This cause is close to our hearts, and we take on this challenge in memory of friends and loved ones.
We're inviting friends, family, and anyone else wanting to make a difference to join us, whether that be participating in the challenge or providing vital support from the (metaphorical) side-lines.
We request that donations are made to this page, which we've set up to represent the impact of our collective effort and the power of community. We recommend a donation of £31 (£1 for each day of the challenge), but any amount is deeply appreciated and will go a long way. For example, just £12.20 covers the cost of a potentially life-saving crisis call.
More information on CALM's important work is available below and via this link: https://www.thecalmzone.net/.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably are taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.
Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
