During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

William has decided to take part in Captain Tom's 100 challenge by cycling 100km over 2 months to raise money for Small Steps.

He suffered a stroke at just 3-weeks old which has left him with Hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy which causes lack of movement and weakness on the left side of his body. Despite these challenges, he has learnt to ride his specially adapted bike and his sheer determination pushes him to get ever stronger and go ever further on it.

Small Steps is local charity that help children with brain injury learn new or different ways of approaching and dealing with everyday tasks. They played an enormous part in William's early rehabilitation and he attend weekly sessions there - free of charge - from 18 months to 4yrs-old. They also provided huge support and comfort to us as parents, as we adapted to our life with a disabled child.

Please help us support this lovely charity so they can help other families. Learn more about them here
