Charlotte Williams is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
Message from Charlotte:
In June 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma, a rare type of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma affecting the lymph nodes in the chest. After treatment at Bristol Royal Infirmary, thankfully I got into remission in April 2024. Now I’m back at work full-time and pretty much back to normal, all thanks to the NHS- the staff at the BRI saved my life. While I was going through treatment I found it so hard to talk about how I was feeling to family and friends, but I signed up for Macmillan’s counselling service and it really made a huge difference. I wanted to do something to give back, so we’ve signed up for a Mighty Hike!

In July 2025, we’re challenging ourselves to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.
Each of us has pledged to raise £250 and we would be so grateful if you could help us reach our total of £1,500. A donation of £250 can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
